Guest Policies

Our surprisingly affordable tariffs include the following amenities:

* Full gourmet breakfast. (named "Best Breakfast in the Southeast" for the 2nd consecutive year by Arrington's Inn Traveler)

* Afternoon refreshments & early-evening port and sherry.

* Enjoyment of our Main Lodge, library, verandas, and gardens.

* Private off street parking provided for guests.
* Complimentary Wi-Fi high-speed Internet access.
* Evening turndown service including gourmet chocolates.

As a small country inn, we do not overbook our property. Your reservation guarantees the availability of your room for the entire duration of your stay. Please keep the following in mind when you book your stay with us:

* Our normal check-in time is 4:00 pm. Please notify us in advance if you would like to request an earlier check-in (based on availability) or if plan to arrive after 8:00 pm.

* Check-out time is by 11:00 am. Please feel free to inquire about late check-out when you check-in.

* Daily tariffs are based on double occupancy unless otherwise indicated.

* Rates do not include applicable state sales & local occupancy taxes.
* A deposit is required to confirm a reservation. (Amount varies based on total stay.)
* Cancellation of any portion or all of your reservation at least fourteen (14) days prior to arrival results in a full refund of your deposit, less a $25 per room administration fee. Peak season, holidays, and special events may require a longer cancellation notice.
* A two-night minimum stay may be required on some weekends, holidays, and special events.
* All of our guest rooms & public areas are smoke-free environments.  Violation of our non-smoking policy in any room will result in a minimum cleaning fee of $300. Smoking is allowed on outdoor porches & verandas.

* Only certain designated rooms are "Pet Friendly." Advance notice is required to accommodate your pet. A security deposit & cleaning fee is required.  Violation of our pet policy will result in a minimum cleaning fee of $300. Pet friendly rooms include pet beds (by request) & treats for your furry companions.

* Please make dinner reservations in advance to assure availability and preferred dining times. We are also happy to accommodate special dining requests with advance notice.

* We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Traveler's Checks, or cash.
